Katarina Aulbach
Katarina (Kat, she/they) is a psychodynamic therapist in training working under licensed supervision and happily welcoming new clients based in Washington, DC or Massachusetts. They are currently pursuing a doctorate in Clinical Psychology at The George Washington University, and holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Elon University. Kat has previous experience in both inpatient, intensive outpatient, and community mental health settings, working with people from all across the lifespan. Her passions lie in working with young adults, members of the LGBTQIA+ community, and folks going through transitional periods of their life. They creates a welcoming, affirming environment where clients can explore all aspects of their identity, including experiences related to trauma, relationships, gender and sexuality, and sudden, new, or emerging serious mental health concerns. As a Yogi, Kat helps incorporate grounding, breathing, and somatic techniques into their practice, working to help clients in reclaiming the present moment while empowering them to embrace their authenticity. She aims to help clients build a deeper understanding of themselves, fostering space for personal freedom, clarity, and self expression.
