Child/Play Therapy

Child play therapy uses the natural language of children—play—to help them express emotions, process experiences, and build coping skills. Through activities like drawing, storytelling, pretend play, and games, children can communicate feelings they may not yet have the words for. In a supportive, developmentally attuned environment, the therapist observes themes, helps the child make sense of big emotions, and gently introduces new ways of understanding and navigating challenges at home, school, and with peers. Play therapy fosters emotional growth, resilience, and healthier communication for young children.
